Highlands Ranch High School Memorial Invitational

Now in its third year, the Highlands Ranch High School Memorial Invitational has been dedicated each year to a member of the track and field community who is no longer with us. This year, we follow the lead of Dakota Ridge High School to extend the memorial outside the borders of our state and raise funds for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Martin Richard, an 8 year old spectator at the Boston Marathon, lost his life in the bombing while his mother and younger sister were both critically injured. The Highlands Ranch High School Track Boosters and HRHS athletic administration have agreed to price tickets at $6 for adults and $4 for students, with $1 of every ticket going to the Richard Family Fund. Meet programs will be provided free of charge. There will also be donation jars at the concession stand for those who would like to donate additional money toward the cause.
