College Signings




Congratulations to HRHS seniors, Macy Kreutz and Connor Turnage, who will be signing National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 5th to compete in NCAA Division I Track and Field programs next year. Join us to celebrate their signings on Wednesday at 3pm in the HRHS Commons.





Macy Kreutz

A 4-time medalist at the State Meet, Macy has been a part of the HRHS Track team since her freshman year. She competed in her first State Meet as a freshman, where her 4x800 meter relay team placed 2nd. As a sophomore, she placed 8th in the 800 meter run and 8th in the 4x800 meter relay. As a junior, she placed 5th in the 800 meter run. She has also competed at State in the 400 meter dash, 4x400 meter relay, and the sprint medley relay. She is a 2nd-year defending Continental League champion in the 800 meter run. Macy's senior season for HRHS starts this month, and she will be signing her National Letter of Intent with Colorado State University. Congratulations, Macy!



Connor Turnage

Connor has been part of the HRHS Track team since his freshman year and has earned 4 state medals. As a freshman, he qualified for the state meet in triple jump, and as a sophomore he took his first state championship in that event. As a junior, he repeated as the 5A State Champion in the triple jump, placed 2nd at State the long jump, and ran a leg on the 4x100 meter relay team that won a 7th place medal at the State Meet. He was named Colorado's Gatorade Athlete of the Year for Track and Field in 2013. Connor's senior season for HRHS starts this month, and he will be signing his National Letter of Intent with University of Nebraska. We also congratulate CC Morgan, who has already signed her NLI to play Division I Basketball with Denver University. CC began competing with HRHS Track as a freshman. As a junior, she medaled at State with an 8th place finish in long jump and ran a leg on the state-qualifying 4x100 meter relay.
