Schedule Changes for Liberty Bell

Liberty Bell has made some schedule changes to accommodate more than 1,600 entries for the meet.

Click here for the revised schedule (changes highlighted in yellow), and please disregard any earlier versions of this schedule. See below for notes from the meet director on some of the schedule changes.

Heat Sheets and Live Results are posted here. Click Start List for heat and lane assignments.

This will be our biggest meet of the year, with the exception of the State Championship. Plan ahead and arrive early. Close parking will be scarce. The best place to park may be the King Soopers at the corner of Littleton and Broadway where you can cross Broadway at the light and walk a short distance to the stadium.

Notes on schedule changes from the meet director:

  • Long Jump start time will be 3:30pm on Friday and expect it to go until 9:30pm
  • Long Jump Boys and Girls Finals will be in the Morning on Saturday, before triple @9am
  • 3200m fast heats b/g runs on Friday night (section 1 in live results)
  • 3200m slow heats b/g will go slowest to fastest (starting with section/heat 6 ending with section/heat 2) this is moved to 8:30am
  • 800m fastest 2 heats of b/g will run Friday (Section/heat 5&6)
  • 800m slow heats of b/g will go slowest to fastest on Saturday (Section/heat 1-4)

Week 6 Updates

THANK YOU

We appreciate all the athletes and families who have already contributed and/or sent out emails to support our fundraiser. Keep up the great work!

Also a big thank you to all the families who have already signed up to help with Friday's Team Dinner -- we just need some salad and the meal is complete.

THIS WEEK

SUMMER CAMP

Mark your calendars for the month of June. We will have morning Speed Camp Monday-Thursday for 4 weeks during the month of June (Cost: $150 for the month). We are still working on field/weight room schedules for the summer and will post a starting time and info sheet soon.

Why our camp? Speed, agility, and power are key components to success in any sport. And we get results!  Our summer speed camps have a decades long tradition, and our coaches have helped develop athletes who went on to complete collegiately in D1, D2, and D3 not only in track and field but also in football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, swimming, and crew. Some of our athletes have even gone on to compete professionally in track and field, football, and volleyball.

WINTER/INDOOR TRACK

Looking even farther ahead...for our athletes who will not be competing in fall/winter sports, we will again offer fall/winter track, including some indoor meets in December - February before our regular high school season starts in late February/early March. More details coming soon. Meanwhile, let Coach Krauss know if you're interested in training and competing in some indoor meets this winter.
