Parent Information Meeting Wednesday, March 1

The 2023 track season is officially underway. We have a lot of events happening right away with our Parent Information Meeting on Wednesday, March 1 at 6pm in the HRHS Library and our first meets on March 9th and March 11th.

We ask that at least one parent/guardian attend this meeting, and we promise to keep it concise. You'll meet our coaching staff who will cover what you can expect this season including practice and meet logistics, communication, information on shoes and apparel, how parents can get involved. and much more.

Meanwhile, please check out our calendar, where you will always find the most up to date information on our team's schedule this season, and explore our website for more info.

We're looking forward to seeing you Wednesday night!

Why participate in our Speed/Running Form Camp?

Club coaches and private coaches are enticing high school athletes with the promise of scholarships / playing time often charging $200 to $500 a month and encouraging them to be one sport athletes. – BUT THEY USUALLY DO NOT MATCH OUR SUCCESS - OFTEN IT’S ABOUT THE MONEY!

Our program is designed to help athletes improve in running form and speed – SPEED AND AGILITY ARE OFTEN THE MAIN COMPONENTS in being successful in most sports – OUR SUMMER PROGRAM HAS BEEN THE KEY TO THE FOLLOWING:

1.) 80% of our athletes are multi-sport athletes (football, basketball, cross-country, softball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse and baseball) with many being the top athletes in their sports.

2.) 50% of our senior track athletes this year were offered Division 1 / Division 2 Athletic Scholarships

3.)  In the past 10 Years we have had One All-World, 3 All-Americans, 2 Denver Post Athletes of the Year and 3 Gatorade Athletes of the Year.

4.)  In the same time we have had 5 Division 1 basketball players letter in track and two Denver Post All-State players

5.)  Four of our track lettermen have been in NFL Camps the past three years with two playing in regular season games.

6.) We have averaged over 15 state qualifiers a year for the past 10 years – yes that is a huge accomplishment – most are multi-sport athletes.

7.)  Our athletes in the last 10 years have competed for 24 Division 1 schools in a variety of sports

OUR GOAL:  LET’S GET FASTER!   Hope to see you in June!  For more information, contact Lou Krauss at lwkrauss@dcsdk12.org
