Parent Meeting Recap + Next Week + We Need Your Help!

Thank you to all of our parents who attended the Parent Information Meeting Wednesday night. We appreciate you, and we're looking forward to a great season!

Here are highlights for the week -- please read to the end:

HRHS Track Handbook

This is a great resource for understanding our team philosophy, expectations for athletes, and best practices for sleep and nutrition on meet days and every day.

Team Calendar 

Our schedule can change as fast as the weather does in Colorado, and this is our most up-to-date schedule.

Schedule Next Week
  •  Wednesday, March 8 -- Spike Night @ Runners Roost
    • 15% off any shoe purchases for athletes and everyone in their families
    • Personalized shoe fittings 
    • Complimentary snacks and beverages
    • 10% of total sales donated to our track program by Runners Roost
  • Thursday, March 9 -- JV Meet @ HRHS @ 3pm 
    • Athletes should go directly to the track after school. All athletes need to be at the meet from start to finish. Those who are not competing will be helping to run events. 
    • Any parents who would like to volunteer to help with events are welcome (no experience necessary). Email Coach Krauss to volunteer. 
  • Friday, March 10 -- Team Dinner (see below for details)
    • Team Dinners are important for team bonding, and the kids love them! All athletes are invited.
    • We have an immediate need for a host family and several other families to help provide food, drinks, etc. for this first of four team dinners. 
    • $5 cash only entry for spectators
    • HRHS is running Girls Long Jump at this meet. One of our coaches will officiate, and we would appreciate the help of 3-4 parents to help the event run quickly and smoothly. It's a great way to get down on the track where the action is. Email Coach Krauss if you would like to help.
