First Week of April Updates

After an April Fool's Day snow, we expect great track weather for our practices and meets this week.

Thank you to Katherine Sauerland who hosted and Kristy Hart who co-hosted our team dinner last Friday and to all the families who helped by providing salad, desserts, and drinks for the meal!

Here are results from last week's meets:

THIS WEEK

Wednesday 4/3 @ 2:00 pm - JV @ Echo Park

Saturday 4/5 -- Varsity @ JEFFCO STADIUM (Note: this is a new location)

Our Team!Snap fundraiser continues through 4/26, and we're off to a strong start thanks to several athletes who have shared the fundraiser through emails and texts! Click here to see our team video and support our team by sharing our fundraising page or donating:

We still have several athletes who have not entered emails or showed coaches their texts for the fundraiser, so we know we can finish strong with their help! Full participation from our team will help us fund:
  •  A new team tent for meets: Our current tent is several years old and has been "Frankensteined" together with spare parts from old tents as parts have broken from the wind. We are planning to get a new tent that is built to withstand winds as high as 35 mph.
  • Assistant Coaches: It takes a lot of expertise to coach distance, sprints, throws, jumps, and hurdles for 70+ athletes across JV and Varsity! The district only funds 5 coaches. Our team has 8.
  • New equipment and implements: Every year, we have equipment and implement needs. This is our first season with new blocks, a new pole vault pit cover, and a new hurdles cart we were able to purchase with last year's fundraiser. This season, we have already purchased new throws implements and training equipment and we also hope to invest in new timing equipment for sprinters with funds from this year's fundraiser.
  • Senior gifts and year-end awards and other team traditions

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
